Although vintage weddings have long been popular, there are plenty of ways you can balance fun, vintage details with a modern twist. Inspired by a beautiful cake featured in this post, I wanted to go with a cooler palette this time. These details would be great for a Spring wedding; cool colors don’t always have to be for winter! The bouquet is one of my absolute, all time favorites.

It’s been awhile since I did an inspiration palette, so I thought it was finally time to get back to it. This time, I was inspired by a truly gorgeous engagement ring by Lulu, who I featured in a previous post here. I really can’t get over how beautiful her jewelry is. Going with a classic, girly, vintage type theme, the peachy pink Morganite center stone really inspired this color scheme.

The autumn wedding season is here, along with the sudden change in weather. Although you may think the autumn and winter seasons are about muted colors, there are plenty of vibrant, rich and deep tones to be found in the colder months. Weddings with a rustic aesthetic are all the rage this time of year, as are earth tones and natural elements. A wedding in the fall can be just as colorful as a springtime wedding, only with an entirely different palette.

I saw this vintage slip dress by an Etsy seller called KTJean, and it inspired me to do a rustic, western, vintage inspiration palette. Warm colors like chocolate brown and mustard yellow come to mind, and work beautifully with the theme. Straw, feathers, and other natural details give such a warm atmosphere to any wedding.
